Texaco Heavy Duty N SAE 30 and 40 are proven performance heavy-duty diesel engine oils designed for use in a wide range of older passenger car and light duty commercial vehicle equipped with gasoline or diesel engines where API SJ, API CF or lower performance engine oils are required.
Applications
- Texaco Heavy Duty N SAE 30 & 40 can be used in following applications that require API SJ and/or API CF performance. Product is not suitable for applications requiring higher level of API performance.
- Gasoline and diesel engines (high-speed, four-stroke)
- Commercial road transport
- Off-highway vehicles
- Agricultural tractors
- High speed diesel engines in marine service
- Generator sets
- Mobile hydraulic systems (where oil type and viscosity are appropriate)
Not recommended for use in gasoline engines that require API SL or higher performance or ACEA classified oils, in any gas-fueled (CNG or LPG) engines, in any diesel engine requiring better performance as API CF, or in any motorcycle engines.
API SJ performance oils are intended for use in vehicles manufactured before 2001. For vehicles manufactured after 2001, the car manual should be checked.
